Insite, Inc.
Directive Parenting™ is the first product developed by Insite, Inc. to provide innovative approaches to psychological growth. Our interactive psycho-educational programs provide the opportunity to individualize information specific to each user's needs. Further products are in development.
Insite, Inc. has been developed by Robert Field, Ph.D. and Debra Forrester-Field,
M.A. with technical assistance from Barry Harrison, Danny Crinion and Resolve
Digital.

Over the past 26 years, Dr. Field has helped thousands of families with the
special problems they face. Based on his clinical work with these families,
we have designed Directive Parenting for you to use in the privacy of your
home. While this is not psychotherapy, our pragmatic approach is based on psychological
principles of learning and child development.
Robert Field, Ph.D. is a California Licensed Psychologist who has provided
assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults over the past
26 years. Dr. Field's specialty training with children has included work with
children as young as 2 years old, school-aged children and adolescents in both
outpatient and inpatient settings. He is a Diplomate of the American College
of Forensic Examiners, a Fellow of the Prescribing Psychologist Registry and
a member of the National Registry of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
He is the father of four children (18, 21, 23 and 26 years of age) and has
been deeply involved in their development.
Dr. Field received his Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology
in 1977. He has extensive experience in clinical work with children in both
agencies and private practice. Through his practice in San Ramon, CA, Dr. Field
provides assessments of children's psychological, academic and social functioning,
and provides parental education and psychotherapy. In 1992, he developed Quest
Therapeutic Camps to provide an innovative group program for children with
emotional, social and behavioral problems. Quest provides an eight-week intensive
summer program and also offers an after-school program to assist children during
the school year.
Debra Forrester-Field, M.A.
Vice President-Insite, Inc.
Debra Forrester-Field provides ongoing quality control and management for the
Directive Parenting website. Her theoretical and practical knowledge of parenting
were instrumental in creating critical components of the program. She reviews
all aspects of the site to assure ease of use, and continues to work on the
development of future sites.
Debra's greatest expertise has been demonstrated in her parenting. Through
her full-time commitment to the psychological development and guidance of her
children, Josh, Meghan, Becca and Carly have emerged as wonderful and unique
individuals. Through her strength, consistency and love, she directed these
young adults towards creative and vital lives.
Debra is also the Administrative Director of the Quest Camps. Over thirteen
years, she has coordinated the supervision and treatment that each child needs
for success. She monitors all aspects of the legal and administrative components
of the program including staff screening and hiring, medical and psychological
issues. Prior to her position at Quest, she provided individual and group therapy
to adolescents and adults. |
